Lauren and Nicolai

Nicolai and Lauren met while they were college in Eastern Connecticut. Lauren was in her home state pursuing her psychology degree and Nicolai was on a student Visa from Denmark, studying Business, with the goal of working for LEGO. Throughout their courtship, they introduced one another to the cultures of their home countries, traveling to Denmark several times to visit family and friends. They met in early 2013 and were married in August 2016. Families and guests came to together at St. Clements Castle in Portland, Connecticut for a wonderful celebration, combining traditions from both the Americans and the Danes and partied the night away.

Nicolai is now the Lego liaison for Amazon and Lauren is studying for her Masters Degree in Social Work. They are the proud parents of two Australian shepherds, Hjortis and Noggin.
