We met at a brain tumor conference in Tampa, Florida and fell in love instantaneously. Wellington then flew out to Los Angeles just a little less than a year later and proposed to me on the top of Griffith Observatory.

I flew home specifically to find a dress in New York and picked Virginia’s Bridal based on the selection they had. I took my sister, mom and a few bridesmaids to try on wedding dresses one Saturday in March … I tried on about 8 different dresses that I liked, but didn’t love. I saw this dress from across the room with NO glasses on – it called to me! I tried it on and immediately started weeping, as did all of my family and friends – a reaction I didn’t have to any other dress and knew it was the one!!! It was one of the most unique dresses I’ve ever seen – I referred to it as “Business in the front, party in the back!!”

We had our dream wedding at the Reid Castle in Purchase, NY. Every single guest commented on how beautiful and perfect my dress was and how unique it was. The dress made my entire day so much more special! My husband even said that it was the most beautiful dress he’d ever seen before!

The Reid Castle at Manhattanville did an excellent job with our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.
