Lindsey and Eddie

April 6, 2018

Since I was a little girl, I've always been SO into fashion. I always knew I wanted something different, a style that was different from any other bride I've known. And being in a sorority, I've known countless brides over the years. The day my dress fitting came I only tried on two dresses before I got to this beauty. It fit like a freaking glove. I tried on two more, just to make sure I didn't want those and ended up putting this one back on. When I put it on for the second time, I got super emotional. All I could see was my dad's face. He passed away a few months prior to my fitting, which for a bride to be and anyone in this case, is heartbreaking. But I saw his face. I saw his smile. I saw his face light up. I could hear his voice telling me how beautiful I looked. So that's when I knew. I knew it would be a show stopper, something that would make Eddie's jaw drop, and something that would make my dad proud to walk me down the aisle in, had he could have been there. And it was just that.

Obvi I had to add my own flair and personal style, so I had a custom belt made with emerald green stones and added a pair of emerald green Jimmy Choo's to complete the dress. Thank you Mikaella Bridal for creating the dress of my dreams!
