I started my wedding dress shopping experience at the Wedding Shoppe looking for a mermaid style dress with lace detailing. I was set on that type of style and had my consultant pull various dresses for me. Although I liked them all and thought they were beautiful, none of them stood out to me as the one. Noticing I was feeling defeated, my consultant stepped out to pull some wild cards. She came in with a dress that was completely different from what I was looking for. She had me close my eyes and helped me get into the gown without looking. The second I slipped it on and opened my eyes, I instantly started crying because I knew it was the one. It was Style 2061. Everything about the dress was so me. The sleek silhouette, and the simplicity and understated elegance of it caught my eye instantly. As I came out to show my family members that had come with, they instantly started cheering because they knew this was the perfect one for me. I did not want to take the dress off! I truly never thought that I would be able to find such a perfect dress. I still thank my consultant to this day for pulling a wild card for me!

On the day of, I couldn't have felt more beautiful. Everything came together too perfectly and I was so excited to marry my best friend and high school sweetheart. The sun was shining bright and there wasn't a cloud in the sky all day. You can't tell in the pictures but it was almost 100 degrees and extremely humid! When I caught the first glimpse of my husband walking down the aisle, I was hit with so many emotions! He had the biggest grin on his face and it made me feel so beautiful! All throughout our ceremony, he kept looking at me and whispering "you look so amazing"! It was so surreal.
