Megan and Jorge

Jorge and I met at a gym in New York City in 2015 -- he, a native New Yorker, and me, a New Hampshire transplant. We would spent the next eight years navigating it all: young love in New York City, a global pandemic that confined us to our 1-bedroom apartment, taking a leap of faith to purchase a home in the suburbs, welcoming our new puppy Lady, and at last, on a beautiful Saturday in September, getting married.

We treated our guests to a Black Tie affair at the world's finest culinary institution, the birthplace of the most famous chefs. Style P5057 was the most perfect gown for the occasion. Even though it didn't fit me well upon trying it on, I could see the ultimate vision and have never doubted my choice! I loved how it paired an elegant, sophisticated high neck with the open-back and soft cowl. I added buttons down the zipper for an additional finish, and paired it with custom-made silk opera gloves, classic white pumps, and a cathedral veil. It embodied the perfect duality of power and femininity, like so many of my favorite powerful women and style icons.
