We met in Boston almost 8 years ago. In the span of 7 years, we found ourselves moving to Pittsburgh, going back to nursing school (Melissa), taking a new job in sales (Shawn), buying a home, getting engaged, and finally getting married. We got engaged Labor Day 2016, and it felt special to get married the same weekend a year later.

Growing up in Boston, I felt it was important to buy my dress there. This Paloma Blanca dress was saved on my phone, and the 3rd dress I tried on. I am typically a very decisive person, but felt so much pressure this day for perfection. After repeatedly going back to this dress, I knew. It was the only one I felt suited me best, my personality, and my style. It was the perfect dress for the perfect day.
