Dan and I have been together for what seems like forever. We started dating Junior year of high-school, but have known each other since 6th grade. We were married in the church that I grew up in, but also where my parents got married almost 30 years to the day earlier. After a snowstorm earlier in the week of our wedding – my fears of a not-so-nice day were heightened. Luckily, our Friday, the 13th wedding was anything but unlucky as temperatures hit almost 80 degrees, which allowed for the lakeside pictures that made me fall in love with Indian Trail Club. We had a love-filled day surrounded by our friends and family, and never left the dance floor all night. I would do it again in a second.

I was a bride that had a binder, and interestingly enough, the dress I chose was one of the pictures I brought in to i do…i do…. I tried on a number of beautiful dresses, but once I put my dress on, I knew. My intuition had been right. From picking my dress, to picking it up, i do…i do… made me feel comfortable, beautiful and at ease.
