Olivia and Eric

What was your inspiration behind your wedding day?
We wanted a romantic and elegant look/feel for our wedding. The blushes, greenery, and accents of gold along with a ton of candlelight made our vision become the most beautiful reality!

Advice to share with brides planning now?
As hard as it may be, do not sweat the small stuff and enjoy EVERY moment on your wedding day. It goes by so fast so take the time to really savor the memories with your closest family and friends.

How did you and your spouse meet?
We met at Ohio University. We met on one of the most popular weekends, Mom’s Weekend. It’s so funny to think that the first time I met my future husband, our mothers were right there next to us. We had a brief interaction. I pursued him further after that and the rest is history!

Proposal Details! How did it happen?
We had just moved in to our first apartment together in Mount Washington. Eric told me we were going to go to dinner to celebrate the occasion. We wanted to get a picture at one of the overlooks since we hadn’t since we moved in. We went down past the Duquense incline closer to Monterey Bay Fish Grotto. We were standing there with the city in the background taking a selfie. Ready to head to dinner I started to make my way back to our car when I turned around to see Eric down on his knee. It was one of the happiest moments of my life! I cired tears of joy and said yes!
