Pam and Hoby

Hoby and I met on Match.com. Within the first few days of being on the site, Hoby contacted me and set up a date right away. Just when I was at the verge of giving up on love, Hoby came and swept me off my feet with his chivalrousness kindness and as I usually say, his "big pot of honey" sweetness. He didn't give up on pursuing me. We fell in love shortly after our second date.
 
After 2.5 years of dating, Hoby proposed to me at our pastor's 20th anniversary. It was a complete mock celebration where all of our friends and family joined in on the secret proposal. I was caught completely off guard thinking that we were going to their event.

We planned our wedding in 10 months and finding a dress was one of my favorite parts of the planning. There were so many beautiful choices, but I ended up falling in love with this Paloma Blanca design because it was both sexy but timeless at the same time. My favorite is the lace and the V back. It fit flawlessly with the rustic yet elegant wedding style I had.

Our wedding was on a hot day in August at The Ryland Inn in New Jersey. Just like our 2nd date when we began to fall in love, the proposal day, and our engagement session, it rained A LOT! However, we were so blessed to have the skies clear for all the key moments – LITERALLY! For the proposal, it stopped raining right before he got on one knee and for our wedding it stopped just in time for our outdoor ceremony.
 
It was an absolute imperfectly perfect and beautiful day surrounded by so much love and we couldn’t be more grateful.
