Rachael and Allen

Allen and I met when we lived next door to each other when we were juniors in college at Miami University in Oxford, OH. We dated throughout college and eventually both landed our first jobs in Cleveland, OH. Three years after we moved to Cleveland, Allen, with the help of my dad and his sister, began planning a romantic, private proposal in June of 2017. After he got down on one knee, plenty of tears and squeals, I said YES! and we celebrated with friends and family near by. And immediately after, the wedding planning began!

On July 21, 2018, on a warm day in Ohio, we were married! We were married surrounded by friends and family at the church I grew up attending. Our wedding party was made up of our siblings, and our closest college and high school friends; we had the most exciting and most fun wedding party of all time as we popped champagne, smoked cigars, and danced our way through wedding photos before heading to our reception.

Our reception was a two stop site: one for our casual cocktail party, themed to match our favorite bar in Cleveland and decorated with our opposing sports teams: The Cleveland Browns and The Buffalo Bills. After the cocktail party, our guests were invited into our vintage, traditional reception hall that matched the floral airy bridal party theme. "Tradition never goes out of style." Gold candelabras and pearls adorned our tables with white sheer lit around the hall. We celebrated all night with a whopping 350 person party that never left the dance floor! It will forever be the best day of our lives.
