Aaron and I met through one of our mutual good friends in 2013. I was in grad school at the time, and Aaron was about to leave for a deployment overseas. We spent the next few months talking, and as soon as he came back home, we decided to give the long distance dating thing a shot. While he was deployed, I sent him a magazine with a bucket list of places we should visit when he returned. One of the first locations on the list is Bethesda Fountain in Central Park. Another deployment and a year and a half later, Aaron proposed in front of Bethesda Fountain, and we officially checked off our first bucket list location! Aaron is truly my best friend, and I’m so thankful we get to do life together!
I said yes to the dress at Kleinfeld, and the second I put this one on, I knew it was the one. I loved all the delicate details and classic, yet modern feel. I wish I could wear it again!
We got married August 11, 2017 at Bush Memorial on the Russell Sage campus where I went to grad school (where we met), and had our reception at The State Room in Albany, NY.
