Sherrie and Adam

December 22, 2017

We met in Muskoka on May 2-4, 2015. We were the only single ones at a cottage party! Naturally, we had to get to know each other. We fell in love and lived long-distance for 3 years until we got married. We had a romantic engagement in Brooklyn, NY and 8 months later were married in Kleinburg, Ontario at The Doctor's House. A winter wedding wasn't something we had really thought of but we fell in love with the idea of a white wedding at this little white chapel, with white snow. We got married on December 22nd, right before Christmas, like my Grandparents did back in the war. Christmas is such a joyous time of year, we loved the idea of celebrating with all of our friends and family at that time! Thank God it snowed the morning of the wedding, thick, beautiful white snow. It couldn't have been more perfect. As for my dress, it meant a lot to have a Canadian designed and made dress. I wanted a lace dress that hugged my body and showed off my back. I wanted sexy, yet classy. This is what I found....
