Carly and Zach

Zach and I met in high school and began dating my junior year, his senior year. I knew even then that I had met my soulmate. We had our ups and downs but made it through. We waited 5 years before getting engaged and began planning our wedding despite me being in the middle of graduate school.

Our original wedding day was set for January 2, 2021 but COVID and God had other plans. Our wedding ended up being a beautiful day without a cloud in the sky on November 8, 2020, almost 6 years after we began dating. We were surrounded by our closest friends and family and felt so full of love the entire day. Although not exactly what our original plans looked like, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. We are planning to celebrate next year with the rest of our loved ones with a reception and dancing.
