Jacob and I are both engineers. He makes steel. I make toilet paper. We met online after we’d both graduated college working our first jobs. We met online. On our first date, we realized that we had been at several of the same events (soccer games, concerts, etc.) the year before we had met.

Our wedding took place in Tuscaloosa, Al which is where we met. The venue was the Rivermarket which is a Farmer’s Market on Tuesday and Saturday mornings. We had about 200 guests and our colors were navy and silver. My mom hired a great string quartet for the ceremony and we had a DJ for the reception. It was a great day!
