Taylor is from Canada. Luis is from Costa Rica. We both met in Germany while working, but we now live in Canada.
During COVID-19 we got married in Costa Rica. Unfortunately Taylor's family was not able to make it due to travel restrictions , therefore we had our second wedding in Canada the following year. So we had one wedding in 2020 and 2021 :) Our wedding Anniversary in Costa Rica is November 7th 2020, and our Canadian date is November 6th, 2021. So when the clock struck 12, we also celebrated our one year!
