John has been my high school sweetheart since we started dating back in 2014. We have been inseparable since! I always knew I was going to marry him but he still managed to surprise me when he proposed in August of 2021. From there, wedding planning and the year flew by.
It was pretty easy finding my dream dress and it happened to be the first dress I tried on at La Bella Moda! 🙂 We hoped to get married at the church we both grew up going to, not knowing if it would be possible since it had closed down back in 2013. Not only that, but it was the church my parents and grandparents got married in. Luckily, we were able to have our ceremony there and it was so special! I’ll cherish the pictures that our amazing photographer captured forever – it still looked the same as it had in the photos of my relatives weddings, albeit with a few new cracks in the walls. We were truly blessed even further with 70 degree weather on our mid-November wedding day in DE! It was such a special day surrounded by all of our loved ones.
