Myself and Mark met nearly 14 years ago at a friend’s house. He’s pretty tall and when he stood up to leave he lost his balance a little. He decided to steady himself by reaching up to the ceiling, but ended up hitting one of the lamp shades and knocked the bulb out! So the room was plunged into darkness.
Two years later we started dating and finally got engaged in South Africa in 2019 while on holiday. We got married in Ballybeg House in Wicklow in June 2022 with our closest friends and family – even our dog was there!
